
Embarrassed of being MLA: AAP's Shoaib Iqbal demands President's Rule in Delhi over Covid-19 situation

AAP MLA Shoaib Iqbal has demanded the Presidential Rule in Delhi over the persisting Covid-19 crisis in the national capital. In a video message, Iqbal raised concerns over the shortage of oxygen supply and unavailability of Remdesivir medicine.
Expressing concern over the degrading Covid-19 situation in Delhi, AAP MLA Shoaib Iqbal has appealed to the Delhi High Court to impose the President's Rule in the national capital with immediate effect. Shoaib Iqbal, the Aam Aadmi Party MLA from Delhi's Matia Mahal, said in a video message, "The situation in Delhi makes me cry. It pains my heart to look at such a condition. There's no oxygen or medicine available. My friend is suffering right now. He doesn't have any oxygen supply or any ventilator for support. I don't know from where to buy him remdesivir medicine..." "Today, I'm not proud, but embarrassed of being an MLA as I'm not able to help anyone in such a distressful situation," Shoaib Iqbal said.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
