ED questions two aides of Shiv Sena leader Anil Parab in money laundering case

ED has questioned two close aides of Maharashtra Transport Minister and Shiv Sena leader Anil Parab in connection with a money laundering case.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Monday questioned two close aides of Maharashtra Transport Minister and Shiv Sena leader Anil Parab. Parab could soon be summoned by the agency to record his statement in the case.
The ED recently registered a money laundering case against Parab and conducted searches at around seven locations, including two residences of Parab last Thursday.
The money laundering case is registered in connection with the resort constructed in Dapoli, Ratnagiri by Parab in violation of Coastal Regulatory Zone (CRZ) rules.
Sadanand Kadam and Sanjay Kadam, both Shiv Sena workers and close aides of Parab who are also associated with Parab in the cable TV business, were questioned by ED officers on Monday.
Sadanand Kadam is the brother of former Shiv Sena MP Ramdas Kadam and one of the close aides of Parab who operates his business from Kandivali in Mumbai. Sadanand Kadam's residence was also searched by ED officials last Thursday. Kadam arrived at the ED office in South Mumbai at around 11 am and was questioned till 5 pm on Monday and then allowed to go.
Sanjay Kadam who was questioned on Monday by ED officials is also a Shiv Sena worker from Andheri West, is in the business of Cable TV. His residence was also searched by ED officials on Thursday last week. Sanjay Kadam arrived at the ED office at around 11 am and left at around 3 pm after questioning.
Several other persons associated with Parab are also under scanner of the agency.
