DVAC registers disproportionate assets case against former AIADMK MLA Sathiyanarayanan

Former AIADMK MLA B. Sathiyanarayanan has been booked for disproportionate assets to the tune of ₹2.64 crore. Searches were conducted at 16 locations in Chennai and Coimbatore by the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption. Sathiyanarayanan served as T Nagar MLA from 2016-21.
The Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption has registered a disproportionate assets case against former MLA from T. Nagar Assembly constituency, B. Sathiyanarayanan of the AIADMK.
After booking the former MLA for amassing wealth to the tune of ₹2.64 crore which was found to be disproportionate to his known sources of income, the investigating agency launched searches at 16 locations in Chennai and Coimbatore.
Mr. Sathiyanarayanan served as T. Nagar MLA during 2016-21.

After mandating pet dog licensing and microchipping, Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) bids to do the same for cattle to curb stray cattle issues and man-animal conflicts in the streets. The civic body has moved to make it compulsory for cattle owners to obtain licenses for their animals across all zones.
