
Dhurandhar 2: Ranveer Singh's film opens for advance bookings

Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar: The Revenge opened advance bookings for its first day across cinemas in India on March 14, ahead of its March 19 release.
Ranveer Singh’s upcoming spy thriller Dhurandhar: The Revenge opened its advance bookings for the first day across cinemas nationwide on March 14. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film is scheduled to release worldwide on March 19, while advance bookings for paid preview shows on March 18 had already begun last week.
According to the trade website Sacnilk, the film has also recorded advance ticket sales in overseas markets ahead of its release. Early tracking shows that premiere advance bookings in the United States have reached approximately USD 982,374 across 678 locations, covering 1,684 shows and around 61,491 tickets sold.
When Canada is included, the total North American premiere advance bookings have crossed USD 1.2 million, surpassing the previous premiere advance record for a Hindi film set by Animal.

The sequel sees Ranveer Singh reprise his role as Indian spy Hamza, also known as Jaskirat Singh Rangi. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal and Sara Arjun in key roles.
The first instalment, Dhurandhar, released in December last year and earned around Rs 1300 crore worldwide.
