
Dhanush pens heartfelt note on Asuran co-star Nitish Veera's death

On Monday, Dhanush took to Twitter to pay tribute to his Asuran co-star Nitish Veera, who died of Covid-19. Nitish made his acting debut in Dhanush-starrer Pudhupettai in 2006.
The Tamil film industry mourned the loss of Nitish Veera on Monday, who died of the novel coronavirus at a private hospital in Chennai. Nitish, who played pivotal roles in Rajinikanth’s Kaala and Dhanush’s Asuran, had tested Covid positive a few days ago and was being treated at the hospital. On May 17, he succumbed to Covid-19 and breathed his last. He is survived by his wife and two daughters. This is disheartening.
