Determined to study, 11-year-old girl with smartphone dream sells dozen mangoes for Rs 1.2 lakh

Eleven-year-old Tulsi Kumari from Jamshedpur sold 12 mangoes for Rs 1.2 lakh to a Mumbai-based businessman after he heard of her dream to buy a smartphone in order to attend online classes.

Tulsi Kumari, an eleven-year-old mango vendor from Jamshedpur in Jharkhand, sold 12 mangoes for Rs 1.2 lakh to a Mumbai-based businessman who heard of her dream to buy a smartphone and pursue online education through a social media post. In what is probably one of the most expensive mango deals ever, businessman Ameya Hete paid Rs 10,000 for each mango and also bought a phone for the young girl.
