Aditya Thakur, a SP cadre from Aligarh, doused himself in petrol and attempted to set fire to himself in front of the party headquarters at Vikramaditya Marg in Lucknow.
The incident is believed to have taken place between 2 am and 3 am on Sunday. The viral footage of the incident showed the luxury car executing high-speed turns and repeated drifts at the Anil Kumble Circle in Bengaluru.
