
Delimitation Commission in Srinagar, high-level security meet in Delhi

The Delimitation Commission is in Srinagar holding meetings with the J&K security officials. CRPF DG Kuldiep Singh and Intelligence Bureau director Arvinda Kumar will be attending a high-level security review meeting in New Delhi today.
The Delimitation Commission is in Srinagar holding meetings with the security officials as the three-member panel began gathering “first-hand information” on the ongoing process of delineating the boundaries of electoral constituencies. The Union home ministry, meanwhile, began a meeting chaired by Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla on Jammu and Kashmir. The Delimitation Commission members are also holding a meeting with political leaders in Jammu and Kashmir this evening. All political parties except former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti’s Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) said they would attend the meeting.More Related News
