Traders' associations in Delhi have decided to observe voluntary lockdown of commercial markets for eight more days till May 10 in order to contain the spread of Covid-19. The decision was announced on Friday at a video conference held by the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT). "The Covid-19 situation in Delhi is horrible and given the present circumstances, it is not possible for the traders to open the shops," said CAIT.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.

He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
