Delhi sees decline in Covid-19 recovery rate as active cases continue to rise

In March alone, Delhi added over 2,000 cases to its tally of active cases while its Covid-19 recovery rate declined by 0.32 per cent.
Delhi reported an increase of more than 200 in its tally of active Covid-19 cases over the last 24 hours. In the month of March alone, the national capital's active caseload has increased by 2,200. On Sunday, Delhi recorded 823 new confirmed cases of Covid-19 along with another 613 recoveries and one more virus-related death. This was the second day in a row that Delhi reported more than 800 fresh cases. The national capital had earlier reported 1,063 new cases in a single day on December 24 of last year. According to the Delhi government's Health Department, there are currently 3,600 active cases in the national capital. Delhi saw its peak of active cases on January 9 of this year when the figure stood at 3,683.More Related News
