
Delhi reports 409 fresh Covid-19 cases, 3 deaths in 24 hours

In March, the daily count of positive cases in Delhi crossed the 300 mark thrice. On Tuesday and Wednesday, the city reported 370 and 320 new cases, respectively, and a total of seven deaths on both the days.
Delhi on Thursday reported 409 fresh Covid-19 cases, the highest single-day spike in two months. Three people succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours taking the toll to 10,934, the health department's bullentin read. In March, the daily count of positive cases in Delhi crossed the 300 mark thrice. On Tuesday and Wednesday, the city reported 370 and 320 new cases, respectively, and a total of seven deaths on both the days. So far, a total of 6,42,439 coronavirus cases have been recorded in the national capital.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.

He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
