Delhi reports 11,491 new infections, over 70 more deaths, active Covid cases exceed 38,000

Delhi reported 11,491 new confirmed cases of Covid-19 on Monday, its highest single-day tally of fresh cases since the beginning of the pandemic last year.

Delhi reported 11,491 new confirmed cases of Covid-19 on Monday, its highest single-day tally of fresh cases since the beginning of the pandemic last year. The national capital also recorded 77 more virus-related deaths in the last 24 hours. Prior to this, Delhi had reported over 70 deaths as a result of Covid-19 on December 5 of last year. The pandemic has claimed a total of 11,355 lives in Delhi to date.
