Delhi Police nabbed two fraudsters for creating fake partner IDs of Shadowfax company and causing a loss to the tune of Rs 4 lakhs. Police also recovered two mobile phones and eight sim cards from their possession.
Delhi Cyber Police officials arrested two fraudsters for allegedly cheating a company, ShadowFax, by creating fake partner IDs. The accused, identified as Punit Kumar (31) and Rahul Gupta (32), created fake partner IDs of Shadowfax company, collected the food orders from the restaurants and, after delivering them to the customers, did not deposit the amount to the company. The company suffered a loss worth Rs 4 lakhs due to the fraud.
Police launched an investigation after a complaint was filed by Alok Swami, Assistant Manager, Security, Shadowfax Technologies Pvt. Ltd.
