At least six members of a family were brutally thrashed with iron rods and sticks by some men in the Mukherjee Nagar area of Delhi on Tuesday night.

The incident took place when some intoxicated men followed a young woman and tried to enter her house. At first, when her mother protested, they started abusing her.
When her family members, including her father, came out after hearing the loud noises, they got into an argument.
The drunk men then started beating them with iron rods and sticks.
Her father suffered major injuries as both his hands were fractured. Other members were also severely injured.
The victim's family and the people of the area alleged that those boys misbehaved with the woman.
Based on the family’s complaint, a case was registered on Wednesday and police have started an investigation.
