Delhi govt, BJP spar over firecracker ban during Diwali: Manoj Tiwari says don't 'bulldoze' on Hindu festivals

A political slugfest erupted between AAP-led government and BJP over firecracker ban during Diwali celebrations in Delhi. Delhi BJP MP Manoj Tiwari said the AAP-led government shows "concerns only when it comes to the festivals of Hindus" and one shouldn't "bulldoze matters of faith".

A war of words has erupted between Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)-led government and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over firecracker ban during Diwali celebrations in Delhi.

Earlier, the Delhi government has announced a ban on the storage, sale and use of firecrackers during Diwali owing to the severe pollution levels in the city.
