Delhi Cantt rape and murder: Nine-year-old was suffocated to death, reveals chargesheet

Police chargesheet in the Delhi Cantt rape and murder case has revealed that the 9-year-old girl was suffocated to death and not electrocuted as claimed by the accused.

On August 2 of this year, a nine-year-old girl was found dead under mysterious circumstances at a crematorium in Delhi Cantonment's Nangal village. Four people were arrested in the case after the minor's parents accused them of rape and murder.

The accused had initially claimed that the girl was electrocuted after coming in contact with a cooler. Delhi Police's chargesheet, however, contradicts such claims made by the four accused - Radhe Shyam, Kuldeep, Lakshmi Narayan and Salim Ahmad.
