Around three people, including a cabbie in the national capital, have been arrested for allegedly robbing passengers on the pretext of providing cheap rides.
As per the report published by the Hindustan Times (HT), Delhi Police revealed that the racket came to light when a resident of the Sangam Vihar area was robbed by the suspects. The victim said that he was waiting for a bus at the Kashmere Gate ISBT for Khanpur when one of the suspects offered to drop him at his destination for just Rs 50.

As per the Bill, those involved in unlawful conversions on the pretext of marriage will be punished with imprisonment of seven years and shall also be liable for a fine of Rs 1 lakh. Violations in respect of a minor, a person of unsound mind, a woman or a person belonging to the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe will be punished with imprisonment of seven years and a fine of Rs 5 lakh.
