Deepika Padukone has quit as the chairperson of MAMI (Mumbai Academy of Moving Image). The actress took to Instagram to announce the same. The Chhapaak actress mentioned that she has quit MAMI because she can't give her full attention to the trust due to her work commitments. She wrote, "Being on the board of MAMI and serving as Chairperson has been a deeply enriching experience.
