Deep Sidhu arrested again, now in FIR filed by ASI over Red Fort violence

The Delhi Police has now arrested Deep Sidhu in an FIR filed by the Archeological Survey of India pertaining to the violence at the Red Fort on Republic Day.

Hours after being granted bail by a Delhi court in a case pertaining to the Republic Day violence at Red Fort, the Delhi Police has arrested actor-activist Deep Sidhu again in another case. The fresh arrest was made regarding an FIR (No. 98/2020) filed by the Archeological Survey of India (ASI) pertaining to the violence at Red Fort, during which parts of the heritage structure were damaged. Earlier, a local court in Delhi granted bail to Deep Sidhu, who was arrested on February 9 in connection with the Red Fort violence on Republic Day during the farmers' tractor march against the central government's new farm laws.
