
Cyclone Asani: Bhubaneswar to receive rainfall, thunderstorms for next 2 days

Under the influence of cyclone Asani, Bhubaneswar is likely to receive heavy rainfall along with thunderstorms for the next two days. From the next week, the city may see partly cloudy conditions.
The Regional Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar, has issued a heavy rainfall warning along with thunderstorms for Bhubaneswar for the next two days under the influence of cyclone Asani. On Wednesday, the maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 33 degrees Celsius and 24 degrees Celsius, respectively.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that a severe cyclonic storm 'Asani' weakened into a cyclonic storm and is likely to become a depression by Thursday morning.
According to MeT, the people of Bhubaneswar are likely to experience heavy rainfall along with thunderstorms over the next five days. While the maximum temperature is expected to settle at 37 degrees Celsius, the minimum temperature may hover around 27 degrees Celsius.
