Adele shared a post on her big win at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards 2022, which was held in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 4.
English singer Adele emerged as one of the top winners at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards 2022 held on Sunday. With a post on Instagram, the ecstatic 34-year-old shared that she is officially a member of the EGO club (an artiste who has won an Emmy, a Grammy and an Oscar), which means, she is just a step away from becoming an EGOT (an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar and a Tony). “Trust me to officially have an EGO,” Adele’s caption read.
The string of images on Adele’s post featured the Rolling In The Deep hitmaker posing with her Emmy award. Thanking the Academy, she wrote, “Bloody h*** I’m pleased as punch! Thank you Ben Winston for dropping this round to me this afternoon!! Trust me to officially have an EGO. Thank you so much Emmys/Television Academy, I’m so so honored to receive this. Big up to everyone involved. Griffith Observatory, thank you for letting me sing up on your mountain and big love to all the other nominees.”
Adele’s Emmy win adds to her collection of 15 Grammys and an Oscar for the Bond theme track, Skyfall.

The Easy On Me singer won the Emmy for her CBS special, Adele: One Night Only, in the Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-Recorded) category. For the same TV special, she also won in four other categories, i.e., Outstanding Direction for a Variety Special, Lighting Design/Lighting Direction for a Variety Special, Outstanding Technical Direction, Camerawork, Video Control for a Special and Sound Mixing for a Variety Series or Special.
The 74th Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards is an annual ceremony that honours artistes and technicians in American prime time television programming. The event was held in Los Angeles, California on September 4, 2022. Besides Adele, The Beatles: Get Back, Euphoria, Stranger Things and The White Lotus were among the top winners of the night. Teen web show Euphoria and HBO’s Succession received the most nominations.
