The Malappuram municipality has begun a COVID-19 awareness campaign exclusively in Hindi and Urdu. The special drive meant for hundreds of migrant people working at different places in the municipality evoked a good response from them. Inaugurating the drive here on Tuesday morning, Municipal Chairman Mujeeb Kaderi said that the presence of migrant workers in the municipality was so dominant that without addressing them, the fight against COVID-19 would not succeed.More Related News
In 2011, the Karnataka government announced that five botanical gardens will be developed on the lines of the Lalbagh Botanical Garden in Bengaluru across the State. But according to the latest developments, there will only be four such gardens as the Horticulture Department is most likely to drop the project that was supposed to come up in Chikkaballapura district.
