
Congress takes action against UP leader for sharing poster welcoming Varun Gandhi to party

A local Congress leader in Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj was relieved from his duties of the party for 15 days after he allegedly shared a poster welcoming BJP leader Varun Gandhi to the Congress.
The Congress has taken strict disciplinary action against a local party leader in Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj for allegedly sharing a poster bearing photographs of Congress president Sonia Gandhi and BJP MP Varun Gandhi. A message on the poster welcomed Varun Gandhi to the Congress.
Irshad Ullah, city Congress committee secretary, Prayagraj, allegedly shared the poster which went viral on social media. The poster had photographs of Sonia Gandhi with Pilibhit MP Varun Gandhi, along with a message welcoming the latter to the Congress.
