There is a split in the Congress party over the induction of poll strategist Prashant Kishor, India Today TV has learned. The G-23 leaders, who picked up a feud with the Gandhi family two years ago, are said to be against Kishor's induction.
The Group of 23 (G-23) leaders in the Congress party are strongly against the inclusion of poll strategist Prashant Kishor, India Today TV has learned. The group, which met at former Union minister Kapil Sibal’s residence on Monday on the occasion of Janmashtami festival, is apprehensive of ‘outsourcing’ key poll-related decision-making. Interestingly, some leaders, who are said to be supportive of Prashant Kishor’s entry into the Congress, were also present during the meeting.More Related News
