A traffic police officer in Tamil Nadu's Coimbatore attacked a Swiggy delivery man on Saturday. The Swiggy delivery agent, Mohanasundaram, was allegedly attacked after he tried to stop a school van that knocked down a woman pedestrian.

According to Mohanasundaram, a woman and a man were trying to cross the road when a school van knocked down the woman. Her male companion tried to stop the van and seeing the two struggle, Mohanasundaram allegedly tried to stop the van by keeping his bike in front of the school vehicle.
The traffic police officer got angry after seeing the commotion and slapped Mohanasundaram. In the video, he is slapped multiple times by the traffic police. The traffic officer allegedly took away his keys and headset.
An enquiry has been ordered into the matter and the cop has reportedly been shifted to the control room.
The incident is believed to have taken place between 2 am and 3 am on Sunday. The viral footage of the incident showed the luxury car executing high-speed turns and repeated drifts at the Anil Kumble Circle in Bengaluru.
