According to police, two women also joined the accused in assaulting the government doctor and the entire incident was captured on a CCTV camera.
A government doctor in Coimbatore was badly beaten up after he reportedly advised a building contractor not to ride his bike with one hand while holding his child on the other hand. The Singanallur police arrested the contractor after the matter came to light, reported The Times of India (TOI).
According to police, the victim, identified as K Ganesh Chandrakaladaran(47), was out for an evening walk on Monday when the incident took place. Chandrakaladaran is a doctor at Malayadipalayam government hospital and lives in Ramanujam Nagar in Uppilipalayam.
