CM Yogi Adityanath unveils statue of Mihir Bhoj at Dadri amid high security

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath unveiled the statue of ninth-century ruler of India Mihir Bhoj, amid protests from Rajput groups. 

An uneasy calm prevailed in Uttar Pradesh's Dadri area on Wednesday as Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath unveiled the statue of ninth-century ruler of India Mihir Bhoj, despite protests from Rajput groups.

CM Yogi Adityanath, however, skipped the prefix 'Gujjar' as claimed by the local MLA and other community leaders to keep the Rajput groups calm. The newly unveiled statue was also cordoned off for public and media professionals due to the protests.
