Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel’s father was arrested on Tuesday after a case was registered against him for making an objectionable statement against Brahmins.
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel's father Nand Kumar Baghel was arrested on Tuesday over objectionable statement against Brahmins. The Raipur Police arrested Nand Kumar Baghel and took him to the court where hearing on the case is currently going on.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.

He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
