
Chandigarh-Manali highway blocked between Mandi and Kullu due to landslide

The Chandigarh-Manali highway was blocked for traffic movement between Mandi and Kallu due to a landslide in Pandoh on Tuesday.
Due to a massive landslide in Pandoh near Mandi district, Himachal Pradesh, the Chandigarh-Manali highway was blocked for traffic movement on Tuesday.
The movement of vehicles has been blocked between Mandi and Kullu.
Due to the blockade, a large number of vehicles are stranded on both sides of the highway. The landslide was caused amid heavy rainfall in the region since Monday evening.
The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has engaged its workforce and machinery to restore the highway for traffic movement.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.

He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
