Chandigarh: Man drags cop on car bonnet when asked to show papers

A constable was reportedly dragged on the bonnet of a car in Chandigarh after the driver was asked to show the documents.
Chandigarh police have registered a case against a man for allegedly dragging a constable on the bonnet of a car for around 500 metres after he was asked to show the documents of the vehicle. According to a report published in The Tribune, the incident was reported on September 22 and the constable, Deepak Kumar, was severely injured. Kumar is currently undergoing treatment at the PGI.
Sub-Inspector Vijay Kumarm in his complaint said, "I was on naka duty with ASI Satish Kumar and constable Deepak Kumar in Sector 36. I saw an Alto car coming towards the naka and signalled the driver to stop and asked him to show the papers of the car."
