The Centre has sought dismissal of petition against use of PM's name and national emblem by PM CARES Fund.
The Union government on Tuesday sought dismissal of the public interest litigation (PIL) against use of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's name and photo, and national flag and emblem by PM CARES Fund.
Pradeep Kumar Srivastava, who is working as Under Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office in South Block, has filed the affidavit in reply and denied every averment made in the petition. Srivastava’s affidavit even asks for costs to be imposed on the petitioner for filing the petition.
