The CBI will on Wednesday record former Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh’s statement in connection with the graft allegations levelled by the former Mumbai top cop.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) will record NCP leader and former Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh’s statement on Wednesday in connection with the allegations of corruption levelled against by of former Mumbai Police commissioner Param Bir Singh. Earlier, the CBI recorded statements of Deshmukh’s two personal assistants in connection with the probe. The central probe agency has also already recorded Param Bir Singh’s statement in which he stood by his allegations against Anil Deshmukh and provided details and evidence of his conversations with his officers Sanjay Patil and Sachin Vaze. According to Param Bir Singh, then Maharashtra home minister had asked the senior Mumbai police officers to extort money from local establishments.More Related News
