CBI files FIR against Mumbai-based firm for defrauding IDBI of Rs 63 crore

The CBI has registered a case against Mumbai-based Topworth Steels & Power Pvt Ltd and its executives for defrauding the IDBI bank to the tune of Rs 63 crore.

In one more bank fraud case, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered a case against a Mumbai-based firm and its executives for defrauding the IDBI bank to the tune of Rs 63 crore, officials said.

The FIR has been lodged on a complaint from IDBI Bank against Mumbai-based Topworth Steels & Power Pvt Ltd, its directors - Surendra Champalal Lodha, Abhay Narendra Lodha, Ashwin Narendra Lodha, Nitin Golecha - along with unknown public servants on charges of defrauding IDBI bank from 2014 to 2016.
