UK Health Secretary Matt Hancock has resigned after pictures of him kissing an aide in his office in violation of Covid norms were published by a national daily.
UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has accepted Health Secretary Matt Hancock's resignation. Hancock (42) quit on Saturday after he was caught embracing and kissing an aide in his office in violation of Covid-19 norms. The matter first came to light after The Sun published photos of Matt Hancock embracing and kissing a woman inside his office. According to the newspaper, Hancock, who is married, had appointed the woman to scrutinise the performance of his department at the taxpayer's expense.
