A case has been registered against YSRCP MLC Ananta Uday Bhaskar in an alleged murder of his driver. The case was registered after Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan Mohan Reddy ordered an impartial probe into his death.
With the tension brewing in Kakinada district of Andhra Pradesh over the death of Subramanya, the driver of MLC Ananta Uday Bhaskar, Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy had instructed officials to take action against the guilty, impartially. Soon after getting the instructions from the CM, the investigation was intensified.
SP of Kakinada Ravindranath Babu instructed officials to take YSRC MLC Ananta Babu into custody in this case.
Based on the allegations raised by the deceased’s parents that MLC Ananta Babu was involved in the case, CM Jagan instructed the officials to investigate the case thoroughly and ensure the guilty is booked.
“Don’t spare anyone, investigate the case thoroughly and ensure the guilty is brought to justice,” the CM instructed the officials.
This is the second time CM Jagan instructed officials to take serious action in law and order cases. Earlier, the CM had instructed officials to take action against YS Kona Reddy in an extortion case.
Addressing a press conference, SP Ravindranath Babu said, “The police have conducted a post-mortem and that the case will be registered under section 302 from earlier section 174”.
