Karanvir Bohra is in trouble. A 40-year-old woman has filed a case against the actor and five others for allegedly cheating her of Rs 1.99 crore.
A 40-year-old woman has registered a case against actor Karanvir Bohra and five other people for allegedly duping her of Rs 1.99 crore. According to reports, the woman claimed that only Rs 1 crore was returned to her. Earlier, on Lock Upp, Karanvir Bohra had revealed that he is in huge debt.
The case has been registered at the Oshiwara Police Station. The official Twitter handle of ANI shared the news. The tweet read, “Maharashtra | Case registered against 6 people including actor Manoj Bohra alias Karanvir Bohra for allegedly cheating a 40-year-old woman of Rs 1.99 crores after promising to return it at 2.5% interest; woman claimed that only an amount of over Rs 1cr was returned: Oshiwara PS (sic)."

The woman claimed that when she asked for the mentioned amount, Karanvir and his wife, Teejay Sidhu, did not respond properly. "The woman also claimed that when she asked for the amount, Bohra & his wife Tajinder Sidhu did not respond properly & threatened to shoot her. Police have started an investigation & will soon record their statements: Oshiwara Police Station (sic)," ANI's next tweet read.
