Sonali Bendre revisited the hospital where she was treated for cancer. She penned an emotional post about her cancer journey.

Sonali Bendre braved cancer in 2018. She often inspires many with her positive attitude and strength. Recently, she revisited the hospital where she was treated for cancer, and it brought back many memories for her. Post that, the actress took to social media to share an emotional post revisiting her cancer journey. Sonali Bendre also shared a video with a collection of photos recalling how she and her husband Goldie Behl were sitting in the doctor’s office four years ago, soon after she was diagnosed with cancer.

Sonali Bendre never fails to inspire us with her positive attitude. The actress, who is a cancer survivor, recently visited the hospital where she was treated. Sharing some throwback pictures from the time she used to go there for treatments, Sonali penned an emotional note on her Instagram account. The note read, “This chair, this view, this exact same spot 4 years later. From sheer terror to continued hope, so much has changed yet so much remains the same.” She continued, “It was unreal to sit there and see patients going in and I could see that I had been through a similar journey saw the chemotherapy suite, the same waiting room, faces were different I felt like telling the patients that there’s HOPE, and I am there on the other side and look at me today I have come in for a visit on the other side of the spectrum”

“It was, as you can guess, a very bittersweet, emotional day. I stepped out, looked my son in the eye, with the sunshine on my face and thanked the universe for everything,” she concluded.

Check it out:

Sonali Bendre was diagnosed with cancer in 2018 and the actor shared updates of her cancer journey on social media. At India Today Group's E-Conclave Corona Series held last year, Sonali opened up about being diagnosed with cancer. She also talked about fighting the disease. She said, “I think we have to just adapt. We are in the age where information is available at our fingertips. I would just say that I didn't want any negativity or speculation about it. Also because my son was twelve at that point of time, kids today would be getting the messages from the internet. I didn't want something negative to reach to him. What was happening was strange and scary enough, I didn't want to add to that. I didn't want my family members getting some strange WhatsApp messages and being frightened about it. So the idea was to put out what is happening by yourself so that there is no speculation around it.”

Sonali Bendre is married to Goldie Behl. The couple has a 15-year-old son whose name is Ranveer Behl
