Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai on Sunday lashed out at Congress for going ahead with the "politically motivated” Mekedatu padayatra. The march is only meant to fool the people of the state, he said.

The Chief Minister also accused the Congress party of indulging in politics on the Mekedatu issue, instead of behaving like a responsible opposition. "But you can't fool the people again and again," CM Basavaraj Bommai said.
