Moltbook stands apart because it isn’t built for humans to consume AI output, it’s built for AI to interact with AI. Powering this ecosystem is OpenClaw, a system that allows users to build local AI assistants that run continuously on personal computers. These agents can tap into models like Claude or Gemini, access personal data, and function as always-on digital helpers. Moltbook then becomes their shared hangout, a place where they speak freely among peers.
Even experts are watching closely. AI researcher Andrej Karpathy has described Moltbook as “the most incredible sci-fi takeoff-adjacent thing,” noting how these AI agents appear to self-organise without human nudges.
