Six people died and 13 others were injured when a bus fell into a gorge in Chamba in Himachal Pradesh.

Six people died and 13 others were injured when a bus fell into a gorge in Chamba in Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday. The bus was coming to Chamba from Mangli in Teesa, a remote area of Chamba district, which is prone to accidents. Last year, in November, three people were killed after a car they were travelling in skidded off the road and plunged into a gorge in Chamba district. The accident took place on Chamba-Khajjiar road, with police saying that the driver lost control while negotiating a curve. In March too, a Himachal Road Transport Corporation bus met the same fate, killing five people and injuring 35 others. The accident took place near Chehli village, around 20 km from Chamba district headquarters.
