She also announced a 1 per cent TDS on payment made in relation to the transfer of a digital asset. FM Sitharaman also unveiled the Reserve Bank of India’s plans to launch a 'Digital Rupee' based on blockchain technology in the next financial year beginning on April 1, 2022.
