The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) are likely to forge an alliance for contesting the upcoming assembly election in Punjab, sources said on Friday. Shiromani Akali Dal has agreed to give 18 seats to BSP, sources told India Today TV. Last year, Akali Dal quit the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) over the farm bills issue.
