
BSF seizes 60 kg silver jewelry worth over Rs 30 lakh in West Bengal

As per BSF sources, smugglers were trying to smuggle the seized silver jewelry from India to Bangladesh.
The Border Security Force (BSF) troops under South Bengal Frontier seized 60 kg of silver jewelry from near the international border in West Bengal. As per BSF sources, smugglers were trying to smuggle the seized silver jewelry from India to Bangladesh from the area of Border Outpost Tentulberia, in North 24 Parganas District.
On January 15, on the basis of specific information, the troops conducted a search operation in the suspected area near the international border. Three big plastic bags were recovered in the search operation. The estimated cost of seized silver jewelry is over Rs 30 lakh.

Amid preparations for an engagement and haldi ceremony in Maharashtra's Dhule district, an argument broke out between two groups over the printing of names on a wedding invitation card, during which three people were attacked with sharp weapons and killed.
