Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji is elated with the response that the film's trailer has been getting. He took to social media to pen a thank-you note for fans.

Director Ayan Mukerji finally elated us all on June 15 after dropping the much-awaited trailer of Brahmastra. The film, which stars Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role, has been in the making since five years now. The trailer of Brahmastra has been creating a massive buzz as fans have praised its VFX and visuals, among other things. Ayan Mukerji has now acknowledged all the love coming his film's way so he took to social media to thank his fans. The director penned a thank-you note.

The trailer of Brahmastra is truly a visual treat for movie-goers, and we can't wait for the film to release now. Meanwhile, director Ayan Mukerji took to social media to express his gratitude towards fans for the love that they showered on the trailer. Taking to his Instagram account, the filmmaker shared a text post saying, “Hello everyone, Yesterday was a very very big moment in the Brahmastra journey with the launch of our Trailer. A deeply heartfelt THANK You for the love, encouragement and excitement that the Trailer is receiving. It means... everything to me. I feel so energised today - as we enter this last lap leading up to our film's release! We will give all that energy and more... our absolute best - to give you guys - a new amazing cinematic experience with Brahmastra.... one that I hope you will feel proud of! September 9th - Here we come (sic)!”.

Produced by Star Studios, Dharma Productions, Prime Focus and Starlight Pictures, Brahmastra will release theatrically on September 9 in five languages Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. It has a stellar ensemble cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni. The trailer of the film released on June 15. Sharing it, the makers wrote, "And here it is, the Trailer of Brahmstra. Get ready to enter a never seen before world of Ancient Indian Astras (sic)." The film revolves around Shiva, a man with supernatural powers and his wife Isha (essayed by Alia). Big B is seen essaying the role of professor Arvind Chaturvedi while Nagarjuna plays an archaeologist. The trailer also features a voice-over by Amitabh Bachchan.
