A mother shared a video of his autistic son placing an order at a cafe for the first time. It was a proud moment for the mother-son duo.
A mother posted a video of her autistic son who placed an order at a cafe all by himself for the first time. It was a moment of pride because when Riley was diagnosed with autism, his mother was told by the doctors that this was something he would probably never be able to do all his life. People with this genetic disorder struggle socially. Hence, this was a big challenge for the little boy. However, he mastered the courage to go up to the waiters to place his order. The video was initially posted on Instagram handle named My Boy Blue. Later, Goodnews Movement shared it.
In the video, Riley can be seen walking up to the waiters to place his order. He was successfully able to place his order. After doing so, he returned to his mother with a smile and feeling proud of himself. The entire exchange was captured by his mother, who sat there on one of the tables of the café.
