Bombay High Court reserves order on Gehana Vasisth’s pre-arrest bail plea

The Bombay High Court has reserved its order on anticipatory bail plea of Gehana Vasisth. The court said Vasisth was needed for further probe in connection with the adult film racket busted in Mumbai.

The Bombay High Court has reserved its order on anticipatory bail plea of Gehana Vasisth, who is accused of directing porn films. This came about after many about-turns by the Mumbai police. Public prosecutor Prajakta Shinde first told the court that custody of Vasisth was needed for further probe in connection with the adult film racket busted in Mumbai. She told the court on Tuesday that the custody was not required.
