BJP and the Uddhav camp of Shiv Sena started trading insults ever since the ED raided Sanjay Raut’s Mumbai house in connection with the Patra Chawl land scam on Sunday.
An Enforcement Directorate (ED) team went to Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut’s residence in Mumbai on Sunday Morning and detained him after conducting hours of search. Raut is being probed in connection with a money laundering case linked to alleged irregularities involving the re-development of a Mumbai ‘chawl’.
The Shiv Sena leader left for the Enforcement Directorate office in his vehicle after the raids as his supporters had gathered outside his house.

He is being questioned by the probe agency since 7pm.
Even as the central probe agency seized cash worth Rs 11.50 lakh from the MP’s house, his lawyer, Vikrant Sabne claimed that no document related to Patra chawl was taken into ED custody.
