
BJP accuses TMC of vandalising its campaign posters ahead of Ballygunge by-election

BJP’s Keya Ghosh on Friday alleged that her party’s flex and hoardings were vandalised ahead of the Ballygunge assembly bypoll on April 12.
BJP strongly condemned the ruling TMC for allegedly vandalising flexes and hoardings in Ballygunge area in Kolkata ahead of bypolls.BJP candidate Keya Ghosh on Friday took to Twitter to share some pictures of vandalism saying, “This is the level of tolerance of TMC in Ballygunge. Flex and hoardings are being torn.”

She also alleged that her party flags were thrown away.This alleged vandalism happened on Friday morning . Leader of Opposition (LOP) Subhendu Adhikari is scheduled to campaign for Keya Ghosh today.On Thursday, the Trinamool Congress MP Abhishek Banerjee campaigned for party colleague Babul Supriyo who is contesting for West Bengal's Ballygunge assembly seat in a by-election to be held on April 12.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
