A disturbing video of a woman brutally hitting her daughter on a road in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur has triggered massive outrage on social media.
In a video of the incident that has now gone viral on social media, the woman is seen scolding and repeatedly slapping the girl in public.
In what appeared to be an act of punishment, she allegedly stuffed bricks into the child’s school bag and forced her to carry it. The girl can be heard crying and screaming as the woman continued to vent her anger.
“112 mein phone kijiye (Please call 112),” a man is heard saying, urging another person to contact the Emergency Response Support System (ERSS). However, his appeal appeared to go unanswered.
“Jisko phone karna hai kijiye (Call whoever you want to),” the woman responded.
“Aise nahi kiya jaata hai (You shouldn’t behave like this),” one man told her, while another added, “Bachche ko zabardasti torture kar rahi hai (She is torturing the child).”

If true, the deployment will give Britain the capability to launch strikes on Iran in case the regional conflict escalates drastically. Earlier, on Friday, the British government had authorised the US military to use military bases in Britain to carry out strikes on Iranian missile sites that are attacking ships in the Strait of Hormuz.
