
Bihar ministers' public spat: Madan Sahni of JD(U) calls BJP's Jivesh Mishra a 'middleman'

Bihar's social welfare minister Madan Sahni and labour minister Jivesh Mishra exchanged jibes after the former accused bureaucrats in the state of indulging in 'autocratic behaviour'.
In a major embarrassment for Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, a feud between two of his Cabinet ministers has spilled into the public domain. Bihar's social welfare minister Madan Sahni of the JD(U) and labour minister Jivesh Mishra of the BJP have been going at it. Sahni even went to the extent of calling fellow minister Jivesh Mishra a "middleman".
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.

According to the police, 19-year-old Sachin Dharmendrabhai Chaudhary, who works as a labourer, had borrowed the money before expressing his inability to repay it immediately, police said. He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
